The Mercury will feature two modes. Salvo Mode, for ship to ship combat, and Flak Mode, for anti fighter defense, and repairs.
This is just for the First rank. This means the systems will differ upon gaining officer rank.
The Mercury is the Largest and most powerful Colonial ship in the mod. It has an extensive number of cannons which can be used as both anti-capitalship, or defensive weapons. It is also the fastest ship, though its FTL is not the most advanced, it is capable of out maneuvering a Cylon capitalship at sub-light speeds. Because of its capability, it is difficult to support in a fleet, therefor a player will rarely have more than one in their fleet at a time. This ship's role is as the ultimate flagship of the Colonial fleet. It is fast, powerful, and can take a heck of a beating from many enemy ships at once. You must use them wisely though, as they are costly and hard to replace. The loss of one of these ships can often decide the turn of a game.

- Built from its own module which requires first module, standard fighter module, and raptor module to be built. The mercury class only requires its module to be built.
- Salvo Mode:
- Mercury Class Designation, Dreadnought/Flagship/Carrier
- 26,( ;D) single target, Kinetic Energy Weapons(KEW) These may target either one or two targets depending on the situation.
- 8, Forward firing, Heavy KEW's
- FTL- Short range, single jump, but quickish recharge.
- May also launch Vipers.
- Flak mode:
- Multi-Targeting Anti Fighter Flak cannons.
- Slower FTL recharge
- Boosted repair rate
- Passive Defense grid: Projectiles cause less damage because they are taken out by the point defense cannons before impact.
- May also launch Vipers.
